Apologies for my long absence from this blog, that's another story for another time. But I'm back in Davis and will endeavor to bring you all the news that's quirky or murky about out beloved town. And let's get on with some news...
Since I've been away it seems that Davis has become the target of a scammer. The Davis Wiki has a page about her, and for want of a better name we'll just have to call her 'Crying Train Girl'. She seems to work the grocery stores of Davis and will approach you asking for money for a train ride home since she lost her ticket. She even will show a train schedule as 'proof'.
Don't give her money. Also don't giver her any abuse as she seems liable to hurl a rock at you (see the wiki page for more details). Hopefully, the police will be able to catch her in the act soon.

OMG!!! Do I now feel like an idiot? OH YEAH. I got taken by her near the Creamery in S.Davis. I got the whole sob story. She told me she was trying to get to San Diego to visit her mother who she just found out was ill. I thought it weird she wasn't anywhere near the train station, but was asking for money for a train ticket. I was with my son and am now thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed that she played the mother card to dupe me out of $10!
Thanks for posting this. Otherwise I wouldn't have know. She has got to be stopped.

According to my analysis, billions of people on our planet get the loan from good banks. So, there's a good chance to receive a bank loan in all countries.
